The spirit of the season was alive and thriving in our little town as we hosted the much-anticipated Holly Jolly Photos with Santa fundraiser event on Saturday, December 2, 2023. What a day it was—filled with joy, community spirit, and a dash of holiday magic!
A Heartfelt Thank You:
Firstly, a massive shoutout to everyone who joined us. Your enthusiasm and generosity transformed this event into something truly special. Your smiles, laughter, and willingness to give back made our Holly Jolly day an immense success.
A Cheerful Turnout:
The turnout was beyond our expectations, and we're thrilled to announce that together, we raised over $1000 for the Squamish Food Bank. But that's not all! Thanks to your kindness, we also collected hundreds of dollars' worth of food and diapers, spreading warmth and cheer to families in need.
Festive Delights for Everyone:
The families that attended had a blast! Children got into the holiday spirit by decorating their own edible Christmas ornaments and gingerbread men. The creativity and joy in the room were truly heartwarming.
Spreading Holiday Wishes:
The little ones had the chance to pen their wishes to Santa in heartwarming letters. The colouring contest brought out the artists in them, and we were amazed at the talent on display!
Excitement and Surprises:
The 50/50 draw added an extra layer of excitement, and we're delighted to announce the lucky winner who found out on Monday, December 4th, that they struck gold!
